Entry Authorisation
Entry Authorisation
Spanish authorities may authorise the entry of travellers from third countries when they meet the requirements established by the Schengen Borders Code. This includes having the necessary documentation, presenting a visa if required by their nationality, demonstrating sufficient financial means, and not being subject to entry bans.
Entry will also only be permitted if the traveller does not pose a risk to public order, national security, or public health.
Important for property owners and agencies
Owners and agencies do not take part in this process and must not validate migration documents. The responsibility for meeting entry requirements lies entirely with the traveller. If the guest has any doubts, the only document you can provide is the reservation confirmation, which may serve as proof of accommodation.
