Security and passwords
The security of your account is essential to protect your personal data, payment information, and bookings. Livantra integrates advanced tools that help you strengthen access to your profile, ensuring a private and trustworthy environment.
From your user area, you can manage your credentials and enable additional security measures such as Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Secure Passwords
Your password is the first line of defense against unauthorized access.
Follow these recommendations to keep your account protected:
- Use a unique password for Livantra.
- include at least 8 characters, combining uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
If you forget your password, you can reset it from the login screen by clicking “Forgot your password?”
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure that adds a second layer of protection when logging in. With this feature, besides your password, you’ll need to enter a temporary code generated by a mobile app.
How to activate it
- In your Livantra account, open the top menu and select “My Profile.”
- Go to the “Two-Factor Verification” tab.
- Click the “Enable Two-Step Authentication” button.
- Scan the QR code using the Google Authenticator app (available for iOS and Android).
- Enter the six-digit code generated by the app and confirm activation.
What 2FA does
- Prevents unauthorized logins, even if someone knows your password.
- Ensures that only you can access your account from a verified device.
- Livantra generates Recovery Codes in case you lose your phone or access to the authenticator.
Keep your recovery codes in a secure location (not on the same device where you use the Authenticator app).
Tip
The combination of a strong password + two-factor authentication provides the highest level of protection for your Livantra account.
