At Livantra, trust between travelers and property owners is essential. Reviews are a key tool to ensure transparency and help other users make informed decisions. For this reason, we have a strict anti-extortion policy designed to prevent reviews from being used as a means of pressure or blackmail by either party.

Prohibited practices

By travelers
Guests may not use the threat of leaving a negative review to obtain:

• additional refunds,
• discounts,
• financial compensation,
• or any other benefit not previously agreed.

Any attempt to pressure a host using reviews constitutes a violation of our guidelines.

By owners or agencies
Owners or agencies may not demand a positive review in exchange for:

• a refund,
• an upgrade,
• compensation,
• nor request that the guest modify an already published review.

Reviews must always be voluntary, authentic, and based on the traveler’s real experience.

Actions Livantra may take
If we detect extortion attempts by travelers or owners, Livantra may apply measures such as:

• warnings,
• temporary suspension,
• or permanent removal of the affected account.

These actions protect the integrity of the platform and ensure that reviews remain reliable and honest.

How to report an extortion attempt
If you believe you have been pressured or blackmailed regarding a review:

• Gather any documentation or evidence (messages, emails, screenshots, etc.).
• Contact the Livantra support team through your account or by writing to traveler@livantra.es.

Your report will be handled confidentially, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and reviewed by our specialist team.

At Livantra, we work to maintain a safe, transparent, and fair environment for all users. Reviews must reflect real experiences - not negotiations or undue pressure.
